Rudolph Big Coffee Table

After successful collaborations on tableware and outdoor furniture, Serax and Vincent Van Duysen are joining forces once again to create a collection of sofas representing the DNA of both institutions.

“I thought it would be a great idea to transform a custom product that I often make in my projects into an edition piece. That's how this collection took shape.”

The name Rudolph comes from Rudolf Michael Schindler, a major figure in American mid-century modernism. “I admire him greatly. The mid-century style is a great source of inspiration for my work; think of the built-in banquettes typical of modern interiors. But the main inspiration for this collection is the sofa I have at home in Portugal, for its proportions, its lines, and the serenity you feel when looking at it or sitting on it.”

The Rudolph sofa is available as a freestanding sofa, two-seater, three-seater, and a single sofa, with wooden side tables and marble tops. Freestanding side tables and center tables complete the collection.
